50 year old 28 Ga shotgun shells?

The old style shell boxes can be valuable and have sold well on ebay. About 10 years ago my X-father in law used to shoot paper shells from the 50-60's on the skeet field all the time without issue.

i've shot old paper shelled 12 gauge and it will fire. if improperly stored the accuracy will be non-existent probably due to the powder getting humid

The paper shells hold a MUCH tighter pattern compared to the modern plastic shells. Shoot away my friend and enjoy.

They did shoot however it's funny looking back since he couldn't hit anything. It gave us a good chuckle on the range.

I was given some old ten gauge steel once. Took them duck hunting, and couldn't hit anything it seemed. I thought it was me. Everytime i would shoot, paper would rain down like confetti from one of those party poppers. I wasn't too amused at the time. Lol
