It’s hardly a secret that the Aussies love their fast Fords. And while the Barra-powered monsters might be gone from the world these days, there are plenty of options for big power with good ol’ fashioned Blue Oval V8s. To make up for the lack of Aussie-built FPV goodness, Ford Australia is bringing this Grabber Lime 700-horsepower supercharged madness, dubbed Mustang R-Spec, to 500 folks.
Because Ford doesn’t exactly build cars in the Antipodes anymore, the RHD Mustang GTs are delivered to Herrod Performance for a thorough going-through, including a full catalog’s worth of Ford Performance components.

Thanks Australia!
Edited...720, not 730...my bad....
Edited again 10/18...Just got the car back from the tuner, and he did a safe tune, limited by the MAF at 630hp and 599tq. I am very disappointed as projected HP was 720. Will have to remove the MAF and go VE system to hit that 720 I prematurely bragged about...But he added over 100ftlb of torque from 3500 to 5250rpm...

If I had to get a domestic sports car I'd probably get some variant of Mustang. Even a basic 5.0 can be tuned to get like 500hp very easy from what I understand.

Very easy. The basic Coyote engine makes about 400 hp stock. Ford claims another 50 hp can be gained by simply burning E85, due to the PCM advancing timing with the higher octane.
