Anyone ever delt with one. I found a great deal, at least I think it is. I bought one and my buddy did also. He is a machinist, so I think we may have an upper hand here. What we don't know is, will it come with instructions on what to do to finish it, if not can that be easily found? He can send them off to be anodized, but can we paint them ourselves, or is there a cheaper method? I already have an AR, and am pretty comfortable with them, but for $30, I thought it to be worth the risk.

You'll need a jig and a drill press.

Youtube has tons of videos showing every step of the process.

That was how I learned how to do them.

Oh, and WELCOME TO ODT!

Yup, just need a jig. I've done a couple my self. I had a stripper lower with me just to use as reference.

I'm not trying to go under the radar, its more about actually diy. Its easy to say, I built my own AR, when all you really did is buy all the parts and install them. I've never seen an 100% mil spec lower for less than $30.
