Nope. Both magazines had "Glock" molded in. Two friends of mine picked up Glocks about the same time (within a year); one was a model 22, the other a model 23. Bought from different stores in different cities, but all three had all plastic mags.

I'd take a picture but I took them by Glock years back and they swapped them out for metal lined. I don't think they would do that with aftermarket.

Then either you had the rarest Glock mags ever or, you're misremembering. Some of the U notch magazine were metal lined that was painted black.

Because by the time 40S&W came out, Gloxk was already on Gen 2, and 3rd or 4th magazine design. So, I've seen non metal lined aftermarket magazine but not factory in 40.
