My daughter is in the band. They had an away game last night. Had to pick her up at the school at 1145. Got to sleep at 1245. Up at 0400. This summit Goliath is way too comfortable. I'm dying here.

Slow start in Emanuel County, but it is a nice morning anyway.
I've heard and seen at least 20 persimmons fall, still no deer. Gonna sit til about 10. Got lodge meeting this evening so gotta head home around lunchtime.
Boy, I ain't use to sitting chasing pigs in public land I cover some miles and this sitting in this climber is getting to me. May get down and do some still hunting. The wind is just right so I can slip very quietly.
Just had a nice 2.5 year old eight pointer come by. Stayed about 60 yards out. Tall rack with good mass. Kind of glad he didn't come in close enough to tempt me to shoot him. Have seen five so far.

My ladder in the dark…I made some noise and buried my pack in leaves which sparked his curiosity.
Had two spotless fawns chasing eachother after first light….they raced all over the place having a blast.
Ten minutes later a very large/ dark buck was running around in the bowl about 60yards away.
A half hour later a second season 8 point snuck up behind me.
I watched him graze for over an hour.
He went and laid down after making his rounds and I watched a mature doe come in behind him and laid down next to him.
I’m gonna take my 9 year old grand daughter out to the tower this evening.
She’s really excited to go hunting.
The tower is located right where that dark buck was running around.

Got some much needed sleep this morning, went in around 8:00, sat til 10:00. Got down to do some tractor work on food plots.

1 year old grandson kept me up from 0100-0500 this morning. Didn't feel safe getting in a tree that tired. Planning on afternoon hunt now.
Pulled my card out of the camera I had on the persimmons and corn pipe, the camera said it has 850 pics since last weekend. I'll check it in a bit when I get home. Hopefully it's not just a bunch of does like most of my other cameras.
