9MM Case at PSA $229

What’s your hourly rate at work and is that factored into your overall cost per round …convenience = $$

That's irrelevant because I get enjoyment out of it. And 1k 9mm only takes an hour to load. In peace and quiet when my kids are a sleep and I'm drinking a beer relaxing. I couldn't imagine not loading it. Plus the custome tuned loads are a huge plus over store bought.

Now 223 I'd factor my time in because case prep. So I buy it already loaded.

If you can't reload for that price your doing something wildly wrong.
My current replacement cost on 9mm components for 124gr. Fmj is $180 bucks per 1k.
Primers cost $100 per 1000, bullets are $140 per 1000, I pound of powder is $40 to $50.
That's $280 to $290, not counting time.

I love having ammo shipped to my door. I do want to get into reloading 10mm and some wssm stuff though , even if it’s one time reloading. Maybe some 30-06?

You shouldn't be paying more the .08 per projectile that's 124gr. primers are down to 80 bucks per 1k shipped including hazmat(bought by the case) titegroup is still 32 bucks a lb which will load 1200 rounds. Seems like you only buy at bass pro. Shop around man. Hell I've bought primers recently for 65 a brick.
