Yep, range pickups they were clustered in the same area so it took a bit to set in for the shooter to become aware there was a problem.

I accidently fired a .40 in 10mm but realized something was amiss. A previous range day rushing, recalled back home and downloading magazines must of mistook the 10mm bag for the .40 bag.

My eyesight is as keen as once was.

speaking of firing rounds in a different chamber, a friend had his dad's .32 revolver. He shot a few rounds and said " can hit anything. See how you do." SO I fire a round and see a splash about 7 feet left of the target (at maybe 15 yards). I fire anoher and same thing. So I'm looking at the pistol, just kind of confused and then I see- the pistol is a 32S&W long, and I look at the ammo box and it's 32ACP. I couldn't believe the rounds wouldn't just fall to the front of the cylinder. At least the caliber was generally correct.
