I believe they're bi-metal cased with steel core bullet.

The bullets are bi-metal (lead core with a thin steel case, and copper washed ). Not a steel core bullet. And the case is steel with a copper wash also. LVE makes some decent ammo, and it's on the hot side. Be careful as it could corrosive! I have shot this ammo and the 9mm makarov and some of it has been corrosive. Guys you should reload. I reload my 9mm for 11.5 cents a shot and it's brass cased. I would shoot cheaper reloads, over possible corrosive steel cased ammo any day.

Well, it says it is not corrosive, so I can only go by what the ad says, but I'm no expert at Russian ammo. Anyway, I clean my guns after shooting them, so corrosive doesn't always worry me as much as others.

I was getting my info from the manufacture's website: http://www.lveplant.ru/pages_en.php?id=14

They're ready changed the price up to 249.99+shipping

You're almost better off going with http://www.freedommunitions.com .........they are a known company and if it's your first order they give you free shipping......otherwise, $21.62 shipping to Sandy Springs if you don't qualify for free shipping......1,000 of 9mm 115gr New is $202.65 or 1,000 rnds 115gr REMAN for $194.39. Slightly more, but a know commodity and US made.

**** Russia. They don't want our grain or vegetables, they can keep their ammo.

THanks for posting though.
