It's easy math. In the summer when your potential attacker is wearing baggy thug shorts and a Falcons jersey you shoot him with your single stack G42 that you had stashed in the pocket of your cargo shorts.
In the winter 7when said attacker is wearing a wife beater, a hoodie and a Dickies jacket you need to shoot him with something larger as in 45ACP or 10mm.
