I recently rented a G32 and shot 100 rounds.
I love the size and feel of the G23 (which is the same as the G19,) BUT
I discovered that I HATE .40.
That round just kicks too much for me. I actually enjoy shooting a .45 from time to time, but the .40 is like riding a mule. I can't stand that round.
G19-9mm all day for me!
Many, many years ago Jeff Cooper said carry the largest gun that YOU will carry & can shoot well.Good advice that has stood the test of time.
x2 ,,,Alot of people shoot a 9 better than a 40. Start out with the 9 and work on technique. Then when you buy another gun, try a 40. I'd save up and buy that Glock instead of the Sigma. When you buy the 40, you will want to keep the 9 for a range gun.
