9mm or .40 for personal protection?

If you ever get to Benning area I have a full size m&p9 you can shoot as well
Which benning area? lol. Theres one north of me, and two south me, and they're all technically fort benning lol
It would take me a minute to save up to money for the glock, but thank you for the tip about the military discount. I need to find a range and see if i can rent one. I don't know of any ranges around me though. Google can help me there

Doesn't matter. They both suck as compared to a decent rifle. Relying on a sidearm to keep you alive is a bad place to be regardless. If you shoot one better than the other, that's the 'best' for you. That said, 9MM will certainly be cheaper.
Oh, and if you're wondering which pistol to get, let me save you some time. So many of us fought it, and all ended up reaching the same conclusion. W should have saved our pennies and bought Glocks to begin with.
