A few others still getting them back today...

Is there any benefit to going paper route over e-filing? I'm wondering if everyone catches onto the e-file if the time will get longer or will the paper route times get shorter?

Well, you still get the real stamp on a paper form. The eforms are an image of a stamp instead of an actual stamp stuck to the paper form. Personally, I'd rather have the shorter wait time.

But this does lead me to a semi-related question. When you guys go shoot your class 3 items do you have to or rather do you take the stamp a long with you?

Just make copies of your forms and keep the original locked up safe somewhere. I printed off some wallet sized copies also. No one has ever asked to see them tho. Kinda like buying beer after turning 21 and no one asks for your ID.

Good to know but in essence no one would walk around with the actual tax stamp anyways so having the real one from the paper method is kinda moot.

I almost got locked up because a certain Clayton county police officer did not even know what he was looking at . Thankfully a other officer showed up and actually knew about the class 3 process.
