I'm in Woodstock. Nothing more than most of GA although we have had 2 come through our neighborhood since we've moved here. My wife is deathly afraid of them so it was for her. Whenever we get warnings we would go to where my mom works to keep her calm. It seems like they all come in the middle of the night and l would say things that weren't to nice. Especially for the moment. Now we can stay home

I wouldn't want to stay in there to long. Its 6'x6'x6'6" tall. It should be fine for a family of 5 though.

Fyi that is a storm shelter not a vault/safe.

Thank you for clarifying (I thought it was a safe at first and had a lot of questions). Looks like a job well done! Hopefully you'll never need it for anything more than storage.

I even made the comment to my wife that we'll be using a lot of caulk on the outside of this thing. It's hard to get good joints when you are working alone. Hardie board is good at breaking if you hold it wrong.

Hardie board is great stuff, but a royal pain to install. Just use a high quality of cualk. I like SW stuff myself
