Why is it anybody's business what another does as long as no harm is being done? If I sell my house for twice the neighborhood average is that wrong? If a buyer pays too much that's on him, school of hard knocks come to mind. Move on and mind your own business or start your own website with your rules. Life is too short.

I wonder, if the majority of the Supporters paying to use this site, decided to not renew unless some changes were made... would that get someone to at least listen to the members and consider a valid, logical request?

Probably not renewing my supporter status. Kinda regret investing in it since it doesn’t give me the ability to say some things I want to like some other prominent members can WITHOUT any issues or bans. Just got back from my ban-hammer vacation.

Nobody is saying to limit asking prices. If you want to charge $3000 for a used gen1 glock with an awful soldering iron stipple job... because CUSTOM. Feel free. It's a free market, charge whatever dumb price you want, in an effort to gouge your fellow ODT members.

However. I should be allowed to say, "That's crazy" without fear of being censored, censured or banned by a mod.

Many of us pay to be here. Yes, we could use it for free, but we like it, want it to continue, and see it as a community as much of a "sales outlet".

Nobody is talking about taking away your "right" to gouge your fellow members. You go right ahead and keep doing that.

What's being discussed is the rest of us not being on such a tight leash or gag order, when you do.

OP, first off, there is no price gouging. A gun is not water, food or gas. You don't have to buy a gun to survive.

So... when this Covid crap started and there were rumblings of states closing gun stores as non-essential... you were supportive of that? That guns were not essential, and so if a governor wants to close them by Executive Order, you are totally cool with that?

Or are you like most people, that change your stance, depending on which internet argument you are trying to "win"? ;-)

It’s got nothing to do with prominent, some respect is earned we all get the same **** from the mods, last time I checked they are volunteers and for the most part try to be reasonable but we all have bad days.

I get what the OP is saying, but this is a meeting places for buyers and sellers to come together. An open market. If one seller is selling peaches 2 for a dollar and one is selling 1 for 2 dollars, let them.

For the sixth and final time. Nobody is saying somebody shouldn't be able to list whatever, for whatever.

But like we have ratings on transactions, and we have the "Like" and "Good deal" button, why shouldn't people, especially paying members, be able to voice an opinion on what is obviously a ****ty or shady deal, without having to worry about being censored or banned, or otherwise reprimanded?

Panics are great for my business.... but in theory if I never bought another gun again I would be fine, if they closed all gun stores and defunded the police the only thing I would be lacking is places to put the bodies.
