Sorry for your loss...
Loss of a parent, particularly the Mother, is bittersweet in the extreme. Gone is the comfort and embrace, the forgiveness and the words of love. As my Mom passed the day after I returned home, I was numb having missed being there for her passing. Not alone, her Sister (my Aunt) and my Sister were at her side. Left now only with the sweet memories and photographs of cherished moments frozen in time, keeping close in my heart the love showered upon me and the gentle lessons her wisdom brought me.
