I am surprised this late to see this but super excited as I have been trying for five years to increase the Turkey population.

Late hatches are usually the result of the hen losing the first hatch. From what I’ve read the survival rate is higher than expected for late hatches as long as insects and seeds are still available. Early wet fall or an early frost is a death sentence on the late hatches though. The loss of their feed and underdeveloped feathers are to blame.
