Several years back while serving out my sentance in Idaho Falls I bought a custom knife from a custom kinda knife creator named Doug Leatham - definitely a piece of quality art!

I cannot adequately describe it so please view the pictures. I am a gun guy, but a knife fight seems to be a tragic way to go so maybe the knife should go first. He was asking $500 and we agreed on $400. I would like to sell it or trade for a pistol so I can stand at least twenty feet away for engagement.

What are the odds for this Damascus Steel Craftwork of a Voodoo nature going to an appreciative home

. It is all virgin, except I cannot vouch for the Elk that contributed the grips.

Do you know if the knife started out as a Blade blank (kit) or if he hand formed the Damascus? Looks like some custom jimping on the spine, can we get some better picture on the spine?

He does mostly flint glass/antler stuff, also damascus knives from what I can tell. Haven't seen anyone say if the knives are kit builds or handmade. Looks like he sells them mostly at festivals and art shows.

Good looking knife for sure but im not sure it would be worth $400-$500 without knowing a lot more about that particular knife.
