About to jump on a Swiss 1896/11 from Classic

Caveat: I read on another forum that Classic is generous with their grading and some folks were PO'ed that their M39's were not as nice as expected, given the grade. AFAIK, Swiss rifles are generally very well maintained and not kicked around as much, so generally are nicer. For under $300, might as well give it a try. In fact, I would suggest ordering two if you can afford it. More guns is always better, pricing probably won't go down ever, and you can always sell the other one if you don't need it.

You'll like it.
The wood may be beat a little but the bore is usually pristine as is the mechanical function.
Ammo isn't cheap but at least it is back. Was gone for a couple of years.
