This IS a terrorist attack. The question is if it is a Muslim terrorist attack.
I seriously hope it is Muslims and the long guns are either full auto or burst fire. If that's the case, any effort towards gun, mag or ammo bans will be a lot harder to get any serious attention. On the other hand, if these people are not Muslims and they are using over the counter AR 15 types, well.....here we go again.
I had a conversation a few days ago with a liberal client of mine. She started the conversation by asking what my opinion was on a high cap mag ban. We had a polite debate on all kinds of aspects of gun control. To give you an idea of what we are up against, after I had basically debunked all of her opinions with good historical and statistical facts and her rejecting it all, I said to her, "So you have an ideology that you will not let the truthful facts interfere with?" She answered with all sincerity, "Right". I asked if she realized what she had just said and she answered "Yes."
The real hypocrisy is that several years ago I came to her home just as she arrived and found her front door open. She was not sure her house had been broken into, so she did not want to call the police, but she did ask me to come into the house with her to check it out, just in case. As we entered the house I placed my hand on my holstered CCW, which she did not know I had. After a couple of minutes she noticed my hand position and asked if I had a gun. I told her "Yes", and she was very relieved I did. Of course before that time and since she has been staunchly anti gun. Like I said, hypocrisy.

On some bases they have quit randomly searching any and all civilian vehicles with the exception of delivery trucks and delivery vehicles. As long as you have an ID to get on base then the only question you get asked is if you have an weapons or contraband? Of course the bad guys all say yes Sir I do.
Who else thinks Feinstein and Pelosi are in a dark room somewhere polishing off the assault weapons ban paperwork or better yet the annointed one will simply sign an executive order!

Hmmm. Wonder if the was a "Drill" going on at the time just like boston. Just curious.

I also find it odd that all these fishy mass shootings that the shooter is always killed. Dead folks can't talk. Brings back memories of sandy hook. If I remember correctly the initial report there was multiple shooters too.
Upon taking office in 1993 President Clinton passes law making military basas gun free zones.

Why leave someone alive who could "talk" look at james holmes (Batman Shooter) he had 25k worth of hardware on a college kids salary? He booby traped his home in methods not yet seen on this continent (all spook methods).....so he went from shooting innocent people and booby trapping his place to then warning the police about all the traps? Then to go "insane" nope.....seems too much like MK ultra to me.
