Hey guys. Traded into an awesome Browning B78 .243 with octagon barrel dating to 1977. Gun is in great shape! Blueing looks perfect! Wood has couple of handling marks. Too pretty for me to hunt with so thinking about posting for sale. Blue book showing only 391 of this exact rifle ever made. Also has a canjar set trigger that is amazing! If my math is right by my blue book that is a few years old it is worth $1800 at 95%. Plus whatever the canjar trigger would add and a Nikon buckmaster scope that I added probably only worth 100 bucks. How much would yall post it for or expect to get? Thanks

If you put it up for auction at GB, it might be your best bet. I don't see any closed auctions for 243. What I do see mostly sold between roughly $850-$1350.

Watched this rifle for awhile when here and on GON. Offered a heavy barrel #1, 25-06, was told
the wood was to plain. Anyway from my view, in the area of 1,000 dollars, maybe a little more.
my 2 cents worth
