Advise Needed: Zero Turn Mowers. 48”-52”. What Do You Recommend?

Glad OP found a good mower. I went to the Scag/Bad Boy dealer. Much preferred dealing with the Gravely dealer. So that made up my mind for me. I'm sure they're all good.

I reached out to a Gravely dealer. I'm sure a Gravely mower would have been awesome, I have several friends that own them and are very satisfied. However, the experience with the particular dealership I talked with wasn't bad, per se, but it wasn't that great.

Go with the Scag Commercial. Kawasaki is an option. I have had two Scag commercial grade for the last 22 years cutting about four acres and sometimes more. I am still running the last one I bought. The first one lasted 13 years before Imsold it for $2,000. It may still be running as far as I know.

Exmark or scag. Find a dealer near you that can service them and carry parts.
Don’t buy a residential model.
Welded deck only.
Kawasaki or Honda engine only.
I got a Kawasaki engine on my last one, mbut the first one lasted me 13 years before I sold it..had a Briggs and Stratton on it. I think it was a 24 hp.

Love my bad boy...it's been flawless so far. Cut 300 acre
