Aftermarket Frames

The firearm in question *is •* just the frame (legally). Everything on the gun other than the frame is just "a collection of parts" that you've packaged together with the frame for sale!

As far as I know, private individuals who built, fir personal use, a firearm frame from a kit back when it was legal and unregistered and such guns never had serial numbers (AKA- "ghost guns") can still sell that gun to any other legally qualified individual in a private party sale.
That person could also sell it to (or transfer it through) an FFL dealer, but once it enters the dealer's possession the dealer must put a serial number on it and record it into their books.

I have a 80% lower that was CNC cut, engraved with all the necessary Colt engravings you would find on a original Colt, then cerakoted and serialized by a shop and sold as a registered lower and I was told it cannot be listed here due to it not being a factory frame, which I 100% understand.

Yea, it's illegal for the site to permit known fake / counterfeit items.

What’s the point in making a fake colt lower?
