I liked the show "Airwolf" in the 1980's.
I really liked the movie "The Mechanic" where Jan-Michael Vincent played an apprentice to master assassin Charles Bronson.
The part where Bronson quizzes the young Vincent on the bullet drop and velocity of various .300 Win Mag sniper rifle loads was fascinating to my 12-year old self.

It looks like he died a month ago, but the news didn't pick up on that fact until 10 days ago.

His health was ruined years ago from booze and drugs and DUI car wrecks.
One leg was amputated in 2012.

He sure didn't look the same in the last 1/3 of his life.
