Ok. I know an AK isn't considered a target rifle, but I bought a used rifle that after removing the slant brake I
found the end of the barrel had some damage. It looks like it may have been dropped on the muzzle and put
a crease in it. I can't tell if it actually damaged the crown or even knocked it out of round. I think the best bet is
to recrown the barrel while actually cutting back the barrel 1/10 of an inch to remove any damage. That would still
leave plenty of threaded barrel for the brake.
Anyone have a crown cutter with pilot or would that only be gunsmith realm? I tried to add a picture but no luck.
