AK mag release, well that's a first

Well ****. So I just got this in trade and I overlooked this. Has anyone ever replace this?

Is the spring missing? It's not difficult to replace. Drive the old pin out, resemble the catch and spring, wrestle new pin in while holding it all in place. I use two ball bearing on either side of the pin and just sandwich it in a vise to get the ends flared.

Spring was installed wrong. Just dont have the new pin. But it will hold a mag.

You can probably get away with re-using that pin till you can get a new one in.

The lip of the release broke.
