Alright... fess up... which one of yall did this?

I wasn't there so I couldn't guess what really happened, but it's his wife, don't you think she is going to say the truck was trying to kill her husband (if nothing else, to keep an even bigger book from being thrown at him)? Besides, they were stopped on the side of 285 (with his car pushed into the wall, sure) when he apparently got out of the car and started shooting, as far as I could tell the driver wasn't facing a life-threatening situation at that point.

Anyway, like I said it's totally a personal choice. Do whatever you think your freedom and your legal team can handle :)

One only has to google "Police, Shoot, Ramming" to see that the individual that used his weapon was justified in his attempt at using deadly force to stop the attack, at least in terms of precedence.

That is debatable. Police carry a different precedence than private citizens, and are also governed by a different set of rules for deadly force. Also, check out the slide show linked before, the vehicles looked to be at least a few hundred feet apart by the time police arrived. The truck would hardly be imposing an immediate threat. maybe it rolled that far afterward, maybe the Lexus driver was trying for a 100 yard shot, maybe he was just shooting because he was pissed off, maybe the truck driver reversed it that far after being shot at. Who knows?

Like I said, I wasn't there, so I can only guess, but my guess would be we don't have all the facts. I think it is safe to say, though, that the Lexus driver acted as he deemed appropriate. As stated, that is his personal choice.

No, kidding. I wouldn't shoot at someone for this. If the guy in the truck pulled out a gun, they yea, i shoot. but just becuase he has my car pinned against wall, to me that is not life threatening. just my opinion.

I cant wait to follow this one.

Ditto, I think this will be pretty interesting to see the result. Could also set some precedence in and of itself, as far as the limits of the Castle Doctrine and what constitutes a forcible felony on the road.
