Alternative for DD "MFR RAIL (M-LOK) QD SLING MOUNT"?

Hello everyone,

I am looking for an alternative to this piece -
Daniel Defense MFR RAIL (M-LOK) QD SLING MOUNT (linked)

Does anyone know of anything else similar that may be less expensive? They are good, i have used them, just curious if there are options for other rails that I have (namely the Cloud Defensive COR V1).

You might find something for $20 that works fine, but if you are comfortable with that one, is the $7 savings really worth it?

Pretty much every name-brand company makes an MLOK mount QD sling socket. Magpul, BCM, CMC, Midwest Industries, Samson, etc.

Samson and MWI both make good kit for reasonable prices. I haven’t used the Samson MLOK QD mount, but it’s similar in style to the DD you posted a pick of. https://www.samson-mfg.com/m-lok-qd-sling-point.html

I wasnt sure if I could find one for $20...or maybe $10...or maybe less. It's a very simple piece, itself not being a QD pocket but only the rotation limiter. I just wasn't sure if I had options or not. I always like options

Great advice. Thanks, mate. I checked on those and they aren't exactly what I am looking for

This piece uses already existing holes in the hand guard, but adds a place for the rotation limiting bearings to land.
Also, this exact piece wont fit so I'll have to reach out to Cloud Defensive anyway :facepalm:
