Am I wrong?

yeah, I did tell her how it made me feel and I asked her nicely at least 3 times and she gets whatever she wants as far as makeup is concerned.

Did you ask her why she did her eye makeup the way she did? Or did you just react to it?

The first thing that I ask my boys when they come up with some off the wall question, I ask, "Why do you ask?"

They tell me and it gives me a much better understanding of what they are asking and the direction they are coming from. And knowing where they are coming from gives me a much better understanding of how to answer.

I have no idea what I would do if I had daughters...good luck buddy!

Was it just that much makeup she used ? Or when you say black eye do you mean had it all the way down to say her cheek or as far high as her brow? If you push it too much she probably just take her makeup with her and put it on when you not around. I might would explain why i told her that

no, she admitted she was trying to make it look like she had a black eye. Probably something she saw in the internet.

f-ing internet.

What do you mean by "black eye"? Like goth? Or...? Would you object to makeup in general?

oh: nevermind. Yeah, I wouldn't have it either.

You're not wrong.

What if some PC adult saw the make-up and didn't realize that the black-eye was fake.? They might call the law and you and your wife would have major trouble on your hands even though there was nothing to it. Help your daughter realize that what she does in public reflects not only on her but on the entire family, and ask her to be more responsible.

This was EXACTLY what was going thru my mind. Even though we were sitting around the tv room messing with the dog, I kept thinking, what if someone came to the door?

And it looked real, no goth, no overly made up, just real.

Well hell, there's another reason I'm glad I don't have daughters. My sons we so much easier to deal with.

yeah the boys are easy as pie, one of them I need to remind to put in deodorant, other than that, easy. Even the 4 year old, we just spent the last hour running cars through his match box track, I kept reading off Lambo, Porche, Challenger, Mustang, etc and he was digging it.

Girls, I have no clue. Makeup, nail polish and clothes?
