Amazon - Blown Away!!!

Perhaps it was from a third party vendor and Amazon does not warehouse this item. Also, returns of batteries cannot ship by USPS, so it would be be costly to return by UPS. Your good fortune.

So a donation for give away day?

But seriously, people can hate on Amazon all they want, but they are my go to source for everything now. If I can't find it there, then I'll go to the store. I bought the wrong ink refills for my printer. Completely my fault. They paid the return freight and then re-shipped the correct ones. I do love some Amazon Prime. Instant gratification!

unfortunately they are taking over the entire market share, running everyone out of business..

We received a large (and rather expensive) order from amazon that we didn't purchase. It was addressed to me but contained items I would never use, let alone order. I contacted Amazon to have them process a return but instead they told me to keep or donate the items. If I recall, it was over $300 worth of goods.

This is just crazy....two days ago I purchased an Arlo Pro wireless surveillance camera system off of Amazon on a whim just for giggles.....the wife has said she does not want any cameras in the house but this camera is wireless with a 4 month Lithium Ion battery and weatherproof. I figured it would be OK outside.

Well, later that day I returned to my senses and attempted to cancel same. Nothing had been marked as shipped yet, Arlo was still in the fulfillment stage, however Amazon replied that it was too late to cancel but I could submit a return request once my item was delivered....

Arlo was delivered yesterday and this morning I requested a return.....and it was DENIED.....wait a minute, what???? denied???? What the Feezy Weezy????? Amazon denied a return? I have never had that happen.

Looks like old Arlo and I are stuck with each other...lesson learned, right? Um, no.....(well sort of no)

I submitted a help request on the return asking why I was unable to return a brand new unopened item and got the following response in like 3 minutes....

So, yeah....now I feel bad..... I ordered on a whim, cancelled when I regained sanity to try to stop Amazon from shipping and I was too late. Then I requested a return and essentially got Arlo for free because they don't accept items considered hazardous (Lithium Ion Batteries) for return.... It's a great deal for me but I somehow feel like I unintentionally gamed the system.

Now I feel guilty and need to go spend more money.....this would be a PERFECT time for Beretta to release the Threaded APX Barrel....

THANKS! I just ordered 10 (and I plan to return them all )
$2,000 for me!!!:)
j/k

Here's the deal. When you buy from Amazon but it's sold by a third-party you're agreeing to the policy of that third party. It says so on the site, but who actually reads all of that stuff? Most likely you couldn't return it unless it was defective, not just because you changed your mind. I had a very similar experience, but the value was even higher. That same "donate, keep..." message was given to me.

Can't return it because Amazon does not accept hazardous materials (lithiun ion batteries) for return...I have been an amazon member for over ten years and have never been unable to return something....until today and on this one I still got a full refund.
