Ammo shortage in Ga!!!

I'm not worried, now that I know who to call for more ammo <grin>
I saw the report on the news today. He stated that he will only sell ammo to those who buy a gun. He wants to make sure anyone who buys a gun in his store can get ammo. He did state about finding a unicorn easier than ammo or something like that but it was nonsense.
Anyone panic buying now is just prolonging this shortage. The bill on banning assult weapons is not even going to the senate vote. According to the CBS evening news last night, the senate needs 60 votes to pass the bill and right now they can only get 40 democrat votes. All this panic for nothing. Obama isn't even talking about it now. Just his so called VP is. Let them do background checks. They should anyway.

I dont know why people are panic buying ammo anyways, don't get me wrong, I have my fair share stockpiled, but only because I ran across a good deal on 1,000 round cases. AMMO is not regualated by the feds, only firearms, so get your heads out of your ass people!

Well, this may be true BUT why are they buying so much of it in non useful calibers (22Long, 44 Mag, 243, etc) unless it is to constrict the market, and if they are not regulating it why isn't Tula/S&B flooding the market with import ammo......
Not sure about an ammo shortage in Georgia but I was able to find my share of the most elusive unicorn- the 22LR unicorn. I bought 2100 rounds on 1/25/2013 and received another few hundred rounds of higher grade this week to sight my 10/22. Ammo is still available online.
Stop panic buying and stop feeding the panic beast with baseless rumors and I swear we will get through this.
