Ammunition prices !

Not running a business selling guns.
When he said he bought those guns and ammo to sell and make a profit, he then becomes and unlicensed firearms dealer.
Please read the laws before you post or you will find the answers when the attorney, prosecutor and judge reminds you that ignorance of the law isn’t a defense for criminal action.
Trends don’t matter.
Buy a million dollars worth of guns a year and no law is broken.
Declaring you are buying guns to turn around and make a profit and then actually doing it is against the law.
Posts like that can get this website I. A bind and people should be smart enough to not say the things that were posted.
I’m setting on plenty ammo and guns.
Think ahead like most others and you will not be in a bind or having people plainly telling you that they are trying to triple their money on people panic buying.
And FYI reservoir dawg
It’s great to be me.
So here’s a question to all members reading this crazy crap.
The numbers beside your profiles tell how many deals you have done thru the website.
While selling and trading done as an individual with amounts of weapons that would be a personal amount and not an amount equal to a business is fine. What happens when the new administration decides to start looking into individual sales just like they want to tax firearms and magazines.
Is there any possibility that they will come up with an “acceptable number of individual sales” a person can do without being considered a business selling firearms?
It is concerning that it could become a possibility. I know those numbers lead to confidence when dealing with someone on here but think down the road and see if you don’t start wondering how far things can go if left to an overzealous attorney general.
Folks I love this site and have purchased from individuals on here.
But think of the potential problems and certainly don’t say stupid crap that is going to draw attention to you or this site.
Now does all that explain it enough for you?

While I respect your opinion, it’s still just speculation. If he can afford to toss that kind of money out for such, there are very few things leftover to stop him from having an FFL. Does he have one? I don’t know but, I also do not know if he doesn’t.

You know Nsquared you are right.
I’m only going on what HE wrote.
I hope he does have an FFL
But face value doesn’t sound that way.
Good luck folks and be careful
We aren’t the only ones looking at this.

Ghall, I can afford to pay people off and take my profit tax free... JK

Seriously tho, the golden rule is quantity per year before you need a FFL. I personally feel that if you make over 5 gun sales per year, you should look into getting a FFL before you get into trouble. Think about it from this aspect: Say you were to sell your 1993 Toyota Camry on Craigslist for 2K. It sold, no big deal. Say you sold 5X Camry's in 1 week... You might have someone knocking on your door, asking for a Dealer license. Similarly, think about this forum and the people that are on it, flipping guns an ammo. Most sell a gun once/twice a year. Selling ammo, does not require a FFL in GA, and selling guns only requires a FFL if you make a living off it. What I do is sell a transferable machinegun for a 10-15K profit once or twice a year while reporting profits and paying taxes on earnings. Perfectly legal in GA, as it should be. Long story short, if you have a problem with Georgia laws, then I suggest you move back to California. "We don't like your kind round Hyuh."
