An AR15 is an AR15 is an AR15 .................................

If it matters, I know the ice cream bars that go to Kroger are the same ones that go to Aldi, just in a different box - because they both had a recall at the same time from the same factory . . . so there . . .

I shoot my PSA more then I shoot my LWRC . . .

This was another M&P Sport Straight from S&W. Castle nut was barely snug and the entire receiver extension rocked back and forth in the lower. The “staking” was more or less a scuff from something like a flat head screw driver. You can see the rotation as the staking scuff can be used as a reference to see the rotation possible by hand.

With $500 and under rifles a buyer should just accept the following:

*Sub-standard materials and components
*Inconsistent assembly
*Improper assembly methods and normally lack of anti seize at all
*General undesired\dated features like aluminum gas blocks and slower twist (1:9 in this case), etc..
*Likely use of dimensionally incorrect components
*Rifle that after “upgrading” to standard components, would have exceeded the cost of buying a quality rifle in the first place.
