Another ammo price rant.

If you're looking for ammo now, it's kind of deserved. Just being honest. The nice thing is if you're patient, you'll eventually find a trader willing to trade/sell at pre-panic pricing.

But my favorite so far has been the ones trying to trade ammo for a firearm. But they offer the ammo above panic pricing and expect the seller to trade their firearm at below pre-panic pricing. Somehow the math doesn't work out.

If you want to raise the price of your trade, then I expect the understanding would be the same on the other side out of pure respect to the deal. Apples to apples.

All about free market pricing, but it sandpapers my sac to see non supporters of the site trying to hold people to the fire.
It is sad! I have 556-223 .9mm and will sale for the price I purchase it for ! Not going to need it all, ther not going to be anything worth fighting for! Sad but true, the good is gone. Never to return!

How much you lookin' to sail? I'd be a buyer.
I am at the hunting property but if my memory serves me right I had 4000 delivered this week and I think they are $360 for 400 that includes shipping not going to break them up sell the whole 400 at one time that way I only have to deal with one sale! If you can find it cheaper than that I don’t need to hear about it I could care less that’s what I have that’s what the offer is have a wonderful Friday I’ll be in the woods but I can receive text message. Thanks

My only gripe with the, "Should have bought when it was cheap" crowd is that is obviously not the group of individuals that train on any type of regular basis. Or they'll go to their backyard, shoot a 12 pack of soda cans off a log, and consider themselves "up to snuff"

I hate the ammo prices, but I understand that's the way it is for right now. But I don't want to be told I shouldn't still be buying ammo when I'm regularly working to be more proficient while Cap'n Fudd has been sitting on the same can of 1000 rounds since 2015.

I’m one of the guys that has sat on thousands of rounds in multiple calibers. Stop buying...never. I’ve been working so much that it really doesn’t matter what the price is, business has been great. If I feel like picking up a few thousand rounds at a high price, well that’s why I work a lot. It doesn’t bother me that someone is making $ off me. I’d shoot more if I had more free time.

you can call it flipping..but if someone(not me,i have what i need and thats it) picked up 556 at .30 a round.good on them. if at this time its 1.00 a round everywhere,i think that them selling it to ODTR'S for .60 to.75 a round is kind of them. you could have stocked up as well and the could get a buck a round at a gun show......
also ammo prices have gone up,a friend who owns a gun store was quoted 98 bucks a box on 3030 from a supplier.
in the 70's gas went from .36 per gal to about 1.19 per gallon.
when things run out or the supply chain is overwhelmed, prices go up.
they cant force you to buy,but you should thank them when they sell to you. after all, ammo is worth billions per round if you need it to protect your family...
put a price on love, then subtract that from what you pay. you will see it was worth it..if its not, reevaluate your life... or dont, its free to rant...
