It’s well known those 3.0 duramax and the 6.2L both have widespread catastrophic engine failures early in life. Hope you get your truck fixed soon and/or can get out from under it

The Chevy 4.3 was a F'in awesome engine that woulda went head to head with them.Ridgeline still has a NA V-6 engine with 285 ponies.Nissan is the only other midsize with an NA V6 engine all other are turbo 4s.
The only Toyota’s to protest against our The New six-cylinder Twin Turbo vehicles I have a 2019 Toyota Tundra TRD V-8 I’ve never had a problem out of it.
She’s not an idiot she’s just a woman.🤣Yes I had a 2003 four runner V-8 I bought new. My then wife put over 350,000 trouble free miles on it. It was a forever vehicle until she ran it ignoring the temperature light and overheated the aluminum block motor to its death. Would have been a simple thermostat fix. But what can I say. Even idiots ignore idiot lights.
Pretty sure most of the 6.2s made in the last 4-5 years have been recalled now, not sure I've seen the mini duramax get recalled yet. The old reliable 5.3 they still offer have been great that I know of.It’s well known those 3.0 duramax and the 6.2L both have widespread catastrophic engine failures early in life. YupLike the 70s vintage Kenmore washer we had years ago in Gray. The outer body was about to rust out but the rest of it kept on going. These days with washers and appliances in general...well I'm sure y'all already know.
They just HAD to add electronics and touch screens to things that clearly didn't need them. And that's the first thing that breaks. When it does break it's about as pricey as buying a new one.
