another quick question re: recoil

The weight of the bullet and the weight of the powder used determine the recoil of an individual load. More of either will increase recoil.

Standard light recoil loads for an uncompensated gun are generally accomplished with a fast burn powder and a light bullet.

The problem is the gun may not function properly.

I would start with a published load using RedDot, Bullseye, Clays, Unique, Solo100, AA 2, AA5 or TiteGroup and a 115 grain bullet. It will be plenty soft as published, I am guessing the AA5 and Unique loads will actually feel the best with a 115 grain bullet, and the Solo1000 will be the best with 125 to 147 grain bullets.
