I have had a few rifles that the trigger or hammer pins walked. I put KNS on my rifles from now on. As cheap as they are it's better to be safe than sorry!

Had the same problem with my AR when I installed a drop in trigger. Installed a KNS pin set which should fix the problem.

Having pins not locked in place annoys me as much as a paper clip (shepards hook) holding in my ak fire control group. I replace those just like I will be putting anti walk pins in my ar.

can you picture your trigger setup? normally this happens from improper hammer spring install, it isn't very common when everything is correct in there

This right here. After having a pin walk, KNS pins are cheap piece of mind.

Well this was exactly the problem....Operator headspace and timing seem to be the issue.

Glad you got it figured out. The kns pins are generally unnecessary unless you have an out of spec trigger pin. Nothing wrong with having them, but a properly installed hammer spring locks into the trigger pin and prevents movement.

You won't find kns pins on mil guns and there's zones of them that get abuse all the time. Proper install is the key step here
