The first 10,000 of these were produced in Hartford by Colt, but I think you already knew that. Your slide is a Hartford slide, right?

The DGFM-FMAP models started around 1945 I believe. There are also other varieties made with Airforce and Navy designations that I have seen. I think all is these are generically called "Sistema."

The Hartford ones are the only ones made by Colt on Colt machines with Colt steel.
