Any Cerakote experts?

Everyone that is fairly active in this forum that does cerakote I've heard does great work. I'm in the same boat as stateline. Started doing it myself to do my own collection and turned into a side gig because I really enjoy it.

It can be done yourself, but remember if you start doing it for others you need a FFL or you just can't be public about it. :)

Thanks!! My cerakote is on the way! Should have everything I need at this point. I Got two colors to start with: Magpul flat dark earth and graphite black... Hoping to get my glock to look like this.

just get their training manual off the web site, then follow their instructions to the tee.

always use AO for the blasting media.. We have always used 90 grit

been doing Cerakote for well over 3 years.... excellent finish

Thanks for the tip! I've got 100 grit AO to start off with. I will keep in mind the 90 grit if that doesn't cut it.
