I met Mr. Fuente years ago at a Big Smoke in NC. I was shaking his hand and he asked how I liked his cigars. I told him that I loved them all except the OPUS X. Shocked, he asked me why, to which I responded that I was unable to afford them. He turned around and shouted something to some lady behind a table and he told me to go and see her. She gave me 10 OPUS X cigars. I still have eight of them. And he signed my tote bag. Cool story,bro, huh?

That HAD to be way cool! It reminds me of when I had a friend built a Commander length 1911 from all Caspian parts with a Novak rear sight. He had to call them about some tech stuff. I think it was about how the sight slot was milled. I heard him say ' I don't think that will work. Has anyone there done this before that I could talk to?" the answer was " You can talk to anyone here you want. But I'm Wayne Novak and I'm telling you it will work." I wish he had been on speaker phone cause it was funny as hell.
