Using the max bid option on ebay will take it up incrementally to your max bid as others bid on that item. A sniper site will wait to the last min.Thanks. So that's different from the sniping software how? The sniping software only makes one bid at the last moment?![]()
I thought that's how it worked as I'm pretty sure I've used it before but for this seller, it does not provide any options.to contact a person just put your cusor over his user name and clic then you should get options of what you would like to do - ie. send mess - look at feedback - auctions his bidding on - auctions he has listed - i use ebay all the time - its how i could afford my new avatar - lol
Thanks. So that's different from the sniping software how? The sniping software only makes one bid at the last moment?![]()
Makes perfect sense but.... who gets the last bid. Meaning, say current high bid is $10 and that person has a max bid of $30 using the regular auto bid by eBay. Someone using the sniper softward has a max bid of $29 and hasn't bid yet. Does the ebay auto bid get the last bid or will the $29 sniper bid go in so late that even ebay's own software get's left in the lurch? In other words, is there any real advantage to the sniper software other than psychological if all the other bidders are using the regular eBay auto bid?Using the max bid option on ebay will take it up incrementally to your max bid as others bid on that item. Lets say the item is 30 bucks your willing to pay 40. The ebay way is every time he outbids you it automatically put the next increment in for you. So 30 goes to 32 for instance and so on creating a bidding war. With the sniper site it stays at 30 till the last min so as to let your nemesis think he has the upper hand. Then at the last nano second it bids for you to 32 dollars and you win. There is no way for him to react.
Hope this makes sense been drinking.
Only options are "save this seller" and "see other items".to contact seller, if using home pc, over under their ebay rating you will see, "Ask a question". left click on it and ask the seller.
You should get the last bid, his auto bid will take it to 30 and if you bid 40 you would end up paying like 32 or whatever the next step was. His max bid was placed before, but its still just his max bid. You have beat him by going to 40.Makes perfect sense but.... who gets the last bid.
