I'd be interested, but aside from your back ground, what agencies/organizations do you hold instructor certifications with.
Also, what schools have you attended and do you have proof of your training? By no means am I bashing/calling you a liar, I just would like to know you are who you say you are, so to speak.

You're right in that considerable focus needs to be on avoidance.
We spend 3 to 4 hrs. per class on threat recognition, threat avoidance, predator/ prey posture & behavior, and a LOT more topics before even picking up a gun.
Your background could also enable you to offer some specialized courses not commonly available.
