Ok, here are the details for anyone looking for something in this class:
2005 Escalade, 6.0L, AWD, 94k miles
Diamond white, tan leather, rear DVD and updated head unit (and backup cam) for the front. Yes, I have the 3rd row seats.
Everything works, new brakes, belts, battery, water, pump, trans and differential fluid, etc.
some "red" features I added - Momo 24" chrome wheels and new tires, tint, K&N intake, Magnaflow
truck came from Arizona, it had an easy life with granny
price for ODT only - $11,800
higher end of the range for KBB but they are selling at this with double the miles.
Unless somebody wants it now I will list in a few weeks with pics.
I look at it as part of negotiating. I sold cars for a couple of years, back before everything was on the internet for all to see, so now I think of it as a game. If you aren't in desperate need of a car its a lot less stressful as you can just walk away. Once you're willing to do that you hold all the chips.
Btw, buying used cars can be tricky since rarity, condition, mileages are all factors. Try playing hardball with someone that knows they have a gem and they will tell you to kick rocks.
