Any one been to Niagara Falls (Canadian side) recently?

Side note: Out of all of the traveling my wife and I have done, **BY FAR** our worst experience with a TSA agent happened on our return trip from Buffalo to ATL. The agent was a total, complete, little man/authority junkie asshole to my wife. We've been in a 3rd world country, and it was a better experience than Buffalo.

By no means am I a violent man, but I would have loved to beat his ass.

+1 on the Maid of the Mist. Went about 20 years ago and thought that it was going to be a tourist-trap bust. It was the best part of the day.

I had walked into Canada and spent some time seeing the sights from that side. Back then you had to pay a $0.25 toll to cross from Canada back into the USA, no idea if it is still that way or if it is still just $0.25. Fortunately, I had a quarter on me (there was a coin operated a turnstile) so I wasn't trapped in the Great White North.

We grabbed lunch at a TGIFridays kind of place up there, I ordered a Molson (when in Canada, do as the Canadians do, eh?) and my wife got a Coke. The beer was much cheaper than her Coke thanks to Canada's "fat tax" on soda.

They also take recycling serious up there. Every trash can had different compartments for various types of garbage.

ditch the family one night and go to the Sundowner .... Its Awesome!!!:love_heart::very_drunk::very_drunk:

Grew up in Buffalo, went to Niagara University. Sundowner took plenty of my money thankfully the wxchange rate was over 2 for 1 to the US dollar.

Also, head to Buffalo on the waterfront. Check out the WWII war ships, it costs money, but you can tour them. Also, do the Miss Buffalo boat ride. Grab a beer and relax on a small cruise.
