Your probably spot on with the price, my work truck is single cab and for the strip on windshield, back glass and 2 side windows if I remember right I think it was $120.+1 for ceramic tint. I'm originally from Utah so I don't have anyone specific here but the difference in heat between basic film and ceramic is....night and day. The shops usually have a heat lamp and samples to let you see and feel the difference.
Cost is dependent on how many windows you have. I can't imagine ceramic will be lower than $200 today for 5 windows (front, rear and back).
I don't imagine he'd be willing to drive 2.5 hours for a job, though.https://www.prestigesolartinting.com/html/automotive.html
I had Phil strip the 16 year old tint out of my work truck, and replace it with Ceramic tint. We used nearly clear Ceramic tint on the windshield, and it makes all the difference in the world. The trucks gets cold faster, and it stays cold.
About an hour up 75 from McDonough. Or I could go to him if the price was right.I know someone who does this, and he's extremely good. However, he's in the McDonough area, and I'm not sure where you (or the work) is located.
