That was hands down my favorite place to race. I was lucky enough to race there afew years and met some great people. I doubt it gets reopened but 🤞

I’d really like to go to Commerce for Ford Fun or whatever it’s called now. I’d book a place to stay a year ahead , all my friends that used to race said it gets crowded quick. They brought videos back for me… first time I saw a car jump all 4 wheels off the ground was around 1995 . That Subaru was killin most everything out there in it’s class, WILD to this day to me lol . My youngest girl had to have a WRX after seeing it .

WOW on her!!.....That's a lot of car. Especially if you build it to the 500hp it's capable of

The north end of Sugar Valley and the Busch straight before the facility was built is the only drag racing I’ve done in a car or truck. $$$ . Motorcycle Dirt Drags were a lot of fun .

I made a bunch of $$$ at busch rd back even after 93 but not in 15+ years.
Dirt drags on my old Harley was the most fun, what of it i remember. We used to go to the swamp off hall station rd and the one in Fairmont.
This whole thread brings back a lot of memories.
