Yea that's what I figured.......
Yep, in other words avoid them. Store branded scopes from most of the major chains go to the lowest bidder that can insure a base level of quality. You're better off going with a name brand.
Scheels Sports scopes are made by Swift. Decent for a store brand scope (better than Cabelas) but still no Nikon for the same $$.

On some hunting forums people love them so who knows? They may be ordered to better specs.
Primary Arms' optics are made in China and they are the best value out there. They are very good optics for the money.
