anyone a pilot? thinking of buying a plane...

Rent! Its a whole in the air in which you throw money. Lots of fun but cheaper to rent.
Oh and if your not instrument rated , become instrument rated.
I don't fly anymore but I miss it

We used to take my son to the Young Eagles
A group of pilots that take kids for rides

One of the pilots said that owning a plane was the most efficient method possible for turning money Into noise

I was Miss Ginger in the Nutcracker.

Pm me if you want to talk about airplanes. I live on a private airstrip, have owned 41 airplanes, 5 helicopters and have approx 12000 hours in everything from ultralights to airliners. I currently fly a boeing 737 as a day job.

The cost factor isn't my primary concern. I am fairly aware of initial and ongoing costs...like a boat, but more money thirsty...im more interested in convenient features, which is more fun to fly, practical, what options you would recommend seeking out (upgraded motor, higher capacity fuel tank, )
