Anyone do any hydroponics, aquaponics, or alternate methods of growing food?

Don't knock it 'til you tried it.
I raised 1000s of Koi but never ate one, but it might be good , im not doubting you... my family owned a fish hatchery for years
I did try eel one time ,im not to big on it either but I like most other sushi
Just another use for an easy to grow protein, beside frying...

Took my boys on a cub scout camping trip last weekend. So not too much time in the garden since.
Just bought property with a green house on it. I don't even know where to start with this. I always just ran a small garden. Suggestions?
I would start with what you want to grow, how much money you have for the budget, and how you want to grow it. Soil based will be cheaper, but hydroponics isnt all that bad if you are a DIY'er.
for example, I think my first dutch bucket system with the 12 buckets cost right about $100. not all that bad.
If you want to try some hydroponics, I can offer what little knowledge I have, or lead you to the some of the right people.
