A friend of mine HAD one. He was very financially stable but he got rid of it because of gas prices. He took it to Bar Harbor once and drove over to Bar Island via the land bridge. Well they didn't realize that the tide came in and started to cover the bridge so when they headed back water was up to the door. Made it back fine. I do remember it having a transmission problem but I don't know when or what caused it.
