Anyone else out this morning?

It's about to get real windy. We got over an inch of rain here in Glascock County. The food plots sure needed it. I'm waiting for a buck to come clean up these scrapes this morning. Saw a decent 8 point working a scape last Sat morning. I want to see his dad this morning.

Well, if my kid put atleast one in his pocket we've reached the 700 mark this morning. Heard a couple shots down his way so I'm confident.

Just seen the first decent buck of the season. He snook in behind me and went down the ridgeline. Not sure on tine count but he was pretty heavy. Trying to grunt him back now to see if he is a shooter.

Someones out by me right now. Someone blasted a decent sized rifle round right at the Acworth Bartow border somewhere at exactly 9am. A little close to houses for.comfort -_-

Hope ya can get him back Gunner.

700 is in the books regardless of what the kid has now, pretty sure he has a couple though. Just missed one at about 150yds by about an inch, just a tad left. Ran like his tail was on fire, net he'll think twice before snacking under that pecan tree again.

I plan on going out next Saturday. It's gonna be windy all week so hopefully the leaves will be 1/3-1/2 what they were this past Thursday when I killed a little doe. I had to punch through some brush on a very difficult shot at like 65 yards (longest and hardest shot I've made so far) and it caused the round to hit her in the neck (keyholed too) but knocked her right out. On the flip slide it was an easy drag out and my bro-in law was very excited to process it for me. I'm gonna let the little ones pass now and wait for a good'in.

Sittin here trying to grunt that buck back and wasn't paying to much attention to the thicket and low and behold, ole granny slick head happens to pop up about the time I sat down. She pegged me moving I guess because she starting blowing. Caught me off guard and scared the hell out of me. Lol she has went back into the thicket now but still is blowing like crazy. Oh well.

I have been woken up by several blowing deer... (oops) It does scare the heck out of you.
